My career began in operations and service, in the back of house where the real standard of a luxury property is held. That foundation never left me. It became the connection to the operational reality that now shapes every marketing strategy I build.

Guests don't return because of the thread count. They return because of how the property made them feel.

Over 15+ years, I moved through marketing, brand strategy, and digital leadership, most recently as Director of Marketing and Communication for two Leading Hotels of the World properties. Luxury properties in a competitive international market, where every touchpoint has to earn the return.

What sets my work apart is the ability to look at a property's commercial ecosystem as a whole. Digital marketing strategy is my core, but the work does not stop there. I integrate digital with sales, revenue management, CRM, and PR because these disciplines only perform at their best when they are all pulling in the same direction. In luxury and aspirational hospitality, including branded residences and villa products, that alignment is the difference between a brand that converts and one that simply looks good online.

I lead with collaboration and I listen before I recommend. Every property has a context, a history, and a team that knows things no outside consultant can know on day one. My role is to bring strategic clarity and the experience of having done this across multiple markets and to build something the entire team can own.

Along my career I became convinced that the future of luxury hospitality sits at the intersection of three things most brands treat separately: digital strategy, Technology and AI fluency, and the psychology of the guest experience. I hold a Master's degree in Communication Studies, trained in Positive Psychology at UPenn, and studied Applied Generative AI at MIT because I wanted to understand all of these disciplines rigorously and apply them in practice.

Now I work with hotels, luxury brands, and marketing executives who are ready to close the gap between a great property and the digital presence that actually sells it.

Luxury hospitality, marketing and digital leadership

A global lens,
built from experience.

I grew up in Belgium, moved to the United States at 26, and have lived and worked across multiple countries since. I am now based in the New York City metro area, one of the world's most important feeder markets for luxury travel, and I travel extensively across the markets where luxury hospitality competes: Europe, the United States, the Caribbean, and regional luxury destinations. Understanding how guests from different cultures think, search, and book is not something you can read in a brief. It comes from having lived it. I move between Dutch, French, and English fluently, which in international luxury is less a personal detail and more a commercial one.
